i’m in san salvador, hungry but online. and that, my dear friends, is no small accomplishment. i’ve had more frijoles than i would ever be interested in eating, but all in all, i like coffee country food. i’m even looking into what corn flour to buy to make tortillas when i get home (any suggestions?). back online, i’m trying to catch up with everything. do you know how...

happiness in the new year
i have so much to tell you, and close enough to the truth - computer has been closed for almost a week. new years came and went, there was champagne and chicken the dog and cooking and tv series through the following weekend. i stayed in and i liked it.  alex have been reading up on bread making, and is nailing it - much better than i could dream of right now. saturday night he baked rye...
